Saw the band, Cold Blood, which is an East Bay Grease band. It's has similar roots to Tower of power and it was a great show. Service and atmosphere is fantastic but don't go there for a meal unless it's not during a show. Foods are limited but you can eat at least a snack or two. Across the street is probably one of the best pizza places that you're going to find. I like sitting upstairs for the venue since you can see pretty much everything. Warning, the floor upstairs is very sticky and it's carpet. So, think about that when you go.

The do not serve food at the Powerhouse Pub it's a bar. With another bar on the other side with a DJ. We usually spend time watching the Spazmatics on the live band side the Powerhouse Pub. Always very friendly staff and bartenders. Just know what you want to order it's very busy and fast pace.

GREAT PLACE! Went to a birthday party here and had a fantastic night, chatting with friends & meeting new people, eating good food, drinking strong cocktails and dancing to a wonderful live band singing the songs of my era...Rock n Roll! For all you older folks, this is your place! This is where you will meet others who are older but young at heart & still having a lot of fun living life to its fullest & not ready for the rocking chair & quiet, lonely nights! Really like the ambiance, too. Its just a feel-good place.! They also have a large open patio area for those who like to smoke without feeling like a leper. Really, this place is, hands down, the BEST!

I was in town for a training. The whole group decided to drop in when we heard they have live band karaoke. This place has incredible atmosphere, in a high-class dive bar sort of way. Staff was all friendly and having a great time. Though the bell ringing may have been a bit aggressive. All the customers were in great spirits. The band was amazing. What blew me away the most was that the dance floor is made out of dvLED panels, so it’s basically a huge tv screen. I work in AV and knew it was possible, but haven’t ever seen a place make that sort of investment. It’s wild, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

My first Powerhouse experience kinda sucked, so a friend invited me out to Tuesday night live karaoke to rectify that memory. The band was awesome. They had a pretty extensive list of good songs to choose from, and the front man was very fun and engaging. The talent for the night was varied, but sofa King fun to watch. I loved watching other people fully enjoying themselves. I had a great night, and the drinks were pretty good, too. The venue is very much my personal aesthetic. I loved it.

I haven't ate anything there but I've been there for the nightclub action. Great place to go, there's actually three places to dance. You have two dancing areas and then you have one area with a dance floor that's lit up and a live band its got a little bit of everything for everyone. The crowd is a mix of people different ages and so on that makes it really inviting. If you're going out and you want to dance and have a good time you're not really sure what you want to dance to this is a good place to go because of the live music. I don't have any negatives everybody seems to be pretty respectful even people that when you're really tight on the dance floor walk by you and bump into you they say excuse me well not all of them lol. The only negative I think of is sometimes the dance floor can get sticky from spilled drinks, but that's not a biggie. I went on March 8th my birthday 2025.
